Application & Usage Instructions
- Cool Stone Only: Ensure the fireplace is completely unlit and the entire stone surface has cooled down to room temperature before application.
- Surface Preparation: Thoroughly clean the slate to remove loose dust, ash, and prior wax layers. Ensure the surface is 100% dry.
- Apply Sparingly: Apply a small amount of oil to a clean, dry, lint-free cloth and rub evenly into the stone using circular motions.
- Buff Clear: Allow the oil to penetrate the slate for 10 to 15 minutes. Take a second clean, dry cloth and buff firmly to remove any excess unabsorbed oil.
