In accordance with the UK Consumer Rights Act 2015, all goods supplied must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose, and as described. If a product does not meet these statutory standards, you have the right to a repair, replacement, or refund as outlined in our Refund Policy.

SECTION 3 - ORDERS AND CONTRACT FORMATION
When you place an order on our website, you are making an offer to purchase the goods.

  2. Contract Formation: A legally binding contract between us is only formed when we dispatch your goods and send you a formal Dispatch Confirmation email.
  3. Order Rejection: We reserve the right to decline or cancel an order at any time before dispatch due to stock unavailability, pricing errors, or inability to authorise your payment. If your order is cancelled after payment is taken, we will issue a full refund immediately to your original payment method.
SECTION 4 - PRICES AND BILLING
All prices displayed on our website are shown in Great British Pounds (GBP) and are inclusive of VAT at the current applicable UK rate.
  1. Delivery Charges: Delivery costs are calculated at checkout and clearly stated before you complete your order.
  2. Pricing Errors: While we try to ensure all prices are accurate, errors may occur. If we discover an error in the price of goods you have ordered, we will inform you as soon as possible and give you the option of reconfirming your order at the correct price or cancelling it.
  3. Payment Security: All payments are processed through Shopify's secure, encrypted payment gateway. You must provide valid, authorised payment details to complete a transaction.
SECTION 5 - SHIPPING, DELIVERY, AND RISK
Estimated delivery times are provided on our product pages and shipping information page. While we make every effort to deliver your goods within these windows, delivery times are estimates and not strict guarantees.

Passing of Risk: In strict compliance with UK consumer law, the risk of loss or damage to the products passes to you only when the goods are physically delivered to your address or left with a safe-person/neighbour authorised by you. We retain full liability for the goods while they are in transit with the courier.
  2. Freight and Heavy Items: Large items, such as media walls and stone hearths, may be delivered via a specialized freight carrier. It is your responsibility to ensure adequate delivery access to your property.
SECTION 6 - CANCELLATION AND RETURN RIGHTS
As a UK consumer purchasing online, you have statutory rights under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.
  1. Right to Cancel: You have the right to cancel your contract and return your online purchase for any reason within 30 days of receiving the goods.
  2. Exclusions: This right to cancel does not apply to bespoke, custom-made, or personalized items (such as media walls made to custom dimensions) unless they are faulty or fundamentally not as described.
  3. Return Process & Costs: To exercise your right to cancel, you must notify us in writing via support@blueoakhome.co.uk. You must return the goods to us at your own expense within 30 days of your cancellation notice, ensuring they are unused and in their original packaging.
  4. Refunds: We will process your refund within 10 days of receiving the returned items back, or receiving proof of return.
